VANCOUVER, Feb. 9 (Yonhap) -- South Korean athletes formally checked into the Olympic village in Vancouver on Tuesday, renewing their resolve to bring home as many medals as possible at the upcoming Winter Games.
"All athletes are in good condition," said Park Sung-in, head of the squad, at a
flag-raising ceremony that officially marked the arrival of the South Korean
Olympic team. "We will secure a top-10 finish in Vancouver."
A total of 46 athletes will represent South Korea at the 21st Winter Olympics,
supported by 37 coaches and officials. They are aiming to finish within the top
10 in the medal standings by winning five gold medals. World figure skating
