Yemeni Delegation Visits SPA

Riyadh, Feb. 14, 2010, SPA -- A Yemeni media delegation paid a visit here today
to Saudi Press Agency (SPA) in line with fraternal bilateral relations and
within the framework of co-operation in all fields.

The delegation was received by Undersecretary of Ministry of Culture and
Information for Foreign Information, who is also Acting Director General of SPA
Dr. Abdulaziz bin Saleh bin Salamah, Director General of News Department Ahmad
Al-Awadh and other SPA officials.

During the meeting, they reviewed SPA activities and discussed operational and
technical aspects.
Welcoming the delegation Dr. bin Salamah stressed the keenness on joint
information cooperation over years, including cooperation between Saudi Press
Agency (SPA) and Yemen News Agency through the exchange of visits between
officials in Saudi Arabia and Yemen.
On his part, the head of the delegation and Edition Director of October 14
newspaper Najib Muqbil praised Saudi media, particularly the Saudi Press Agency
for their technical and editorial services, wishing all success for SPA and its
staff of editors and technicians.
