By Jung Ji-yon
VANCOUVER, Feb. 15 (Yonhap) -- South Korea's Lee Chae-won finished 54th in the
women's 10 kilometer cross-country freestyle skiing event at the Vancouver
Olympics on Monday.

Lee completed the course in 27 minutes and 56 seconds at Whistler Olympic Park,

skiers in Monday's race.
Lee has competed in a total of seven races at the 2002 Salt Lake City games and
in Turin in 2006, coming in with a personal best of 46th out of 59 in the 15km
race in 2002.
"I will try to achieve my goal of entering the top 30 in the 15km pursuit race on
Saturday", said Lee.
Sweden's Charlotte Kalla won the race in 24 minutes and 58.4 seconds, clinching
the country's first gold medal in this year's Olympics.
