Iran busts 30 investment scammers
TEHRAN, March 9 (MNA) -- Iranian intelligence agents have arrested 30 key members of the fraudulent investment company Quest International.
The swindlers cheated 300,000 people out of about $500 million over the past two years, the Intelligence Ministry announced on Monday.
The criminals served as the main go-betweens connecting members of the illegal Gold Quest pyramid investment company working in Iran and its leaders based in foreign countries.
The arrested people confessed that they had conned thousands of people, including a large number of young people, out of millions of dollars by giving them empty promises.
