Iran to play UAE in ACL
TEHRAN, March 9 (MNA) -- Iran’s Esteghlal will play Al Jazira from the UAE in Group A of the AFC Champions League 2010 today.
Esteghlal defeated Al Ahli of Saudi Arabia 2-1 in its opening match in Riyadh.
Qatari Al Garrafa is also scheduled to meet Al Ahli of Saudi Arabia on the same day.
Iran’s other representative, Zob Ahan, will play Al Ittihad from Saudi Arabia in Jeddah in Group B. Zob Ahan beat Al Wehda of the UAE in Isfahan in its opening.
