Leader makes donation to needy families

TEHRAN, March 11 (MNA) – The Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei made a donation of 200 million rails (an equivalent of 20,000 dollars) to families under the umbrella of the Imam Khomeini Relief Committee and other poor families.

The move came to mark the Jashn-e Nikookari, the annual public fundraising held just ahead of the Iranian New Year which starts on March 21.
