S. Korea broadcasts TV adaptation of Iranian children’s book

TEHRAN, March 13 (MNA) -- An animated production based on the Iranian children’s book “Tap, tap, tap” was recently broadcast on a South Korean educational TV channel.

The Korean animation has English subtitles, reported the Persian service of ISNA on Friday. However, it didn’t refer the name of the TV channel.

Authored by Fatemeh Mashhadi-Rostam, “Tap, tap, tap” is about a Lilliputian who returns from an odyssey, but only his mother remembers him.

The book, published by Shabaviz in 2005, was illustrated by Afra Nobahar.

Another of Mashhadi-Rostam’s books, “A Rainbow of Shoes”, has also been published in Korean. An animated adaptation of this book is also to be produced in the country.

Mashhadi-Rostam is also the author of “Clever Rabbit and Mother Magpie”, “The Fox” and “The Guard of the Sun”.
