Iran’s Pardis Ensemble to perform in Netherlands in April
TEHRAN, March 13 (MNA) -- Iran’s Pardis Ensemble in collaboration with the Dutch Heerlen Music School will give a performance on April 24 in Heerlen.
Led by Hamid Motebassem, the ensemble consists of singers and musicians from different nations.
“The musicians are selected based on their talents and there is no limit in Pardis. We are also planning to record the performances with the participation of professional orchestras,” Motebassem told MNA.
He added that the ensemble is established aiming to bring the cultures of different nations closer to one another, to make use of cultural experiences and to create motivation among trainers and students of music.
Several compositions by Motebassem that have been previously performed elsewhere will be featured in the concert.
Tonbak player Peiman Nasehpur has recently joined the group.
