Dushanbe museum hangs works of Iranian women artists

TEHRAN, March 13 (MNA) -- Artworks created by the Iranian women artists are currently on display during an exhibition at the Behzad Museum of Art and History in Dushanbe, Tajikistan.

The three-day exhibition that opened Thursday is displaying works by Fatemeh Panahian, Seyyedeh Soghra Hosseini, Roya Kazeruni and Amaneh Badrossama.

Illuminations on cardboard, shell and camel’s bones as well as some paintings created by Fatemeh Panahian will be on display at the event.

18 calligraphy artworks featuring Quranic verses and renowned Persian poems by Seyyedeh Soghra Hosseini are on display at the showcase.

Roya Kazeruni’s Persian miniature paintings alongside with 17 watercolors by Ameneh Badrosama are also on display at the event.

The exhibit is organized by the Iran’s cultural attaché office in Dushanbe and Tajikistan Minister of Culture.
