Sumo: JSA chief Musashigawa frowns upon Asashoryu`s complaint

TOKYO, March 13 Kyodo -
Japan Sumo Association chief Musashigawa expressed displeasure Saturday with
the recent complaint Asashoryu made while back in his native Mongolia regarding
the ancient sport's governing body.
''How could he complain about us?'' Musashigawa told reporters. ''He is the one
who admitted to the offense and retired to take responsibility for God's
sake!''
The former grand champion, speaking at a press conference Thursday in Ulan
Bator, refuted Japanese magazine reports of his alleged drunken rampage outside
a Tokyo nightclub in mid-January and said JSA officials were too strict with
the rules.
Asashoryu announced his retirement on Feb. 4, saying he ''caused a lot of
trouble.''
