‘Iran should bring confrontation closer to enemy’s headquarters’
TEHRAN, March 14 (MNA) -- President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has stated that if the Iranian nation wants to maintain its existence, it should bring the confrontation front closer to the enemy’s headquarters.
“If a nation waits to confront enemies near its borders, undoubtedly such a nation is doomed to humiliation,” he said on Saturday.
The Islamic Revolution revived humanity and saved it from sinking deeper into the mire of materialistic, capitalist, and communist systems, he said.
“If Islamic Iran can develop into a modern country, independent of the global hegemonic system, undoubtedly it will lead to the death of such a system,” he asserted.
The enemies are aware of this potentiality of the Islamic system and that is why they are trying to hinder Iran’s progress and growth, he said.
Today, Iran is the standard-bearer of the nations standing up to the global arrogance, so Iran should be developed quickly, but the realization of this goal requires diligence and great endeavors, he added.
