Japanese crown prince talks with Italian president+

ROME, March 14 Kyodo -
Japanese Crown Prince Naruhito talked with Italian President Giorgio Napolitano
in Rome on Saturday before returning home via the city, bringing an end to his
weeklong official visit to Ghana and Kenya.
The crown prince thanked the president for welcoming him despite the holiday.
At the presidential palace, the crown prince, guided by Napolitano, saw a
fresco painting believed to portray Hasekura Tsunenaga, a Japanese samurai who
visited Spain and Rome in the 17th century.
The crown prince is scheduled to return home Monday.
