Iran parliamentary group to visit China in mid-spring
TEHRAN, March 17 (MNA) – An Iranian parliamentary delegation will make a trip to China on May 8, the chairman of Iran-China parliamentary friendship group has announced.
The five-member parliamentary delegation will visit Beijing at the invitation of the National People’s Congress of China, Hojatoleslam Hossein Sobhaninia said on Tuesday.
Sobhaninia met the Chinese ambassador to Tehran on Tuesday. The two officials exchanged views on expansion of ties between Tehran and Beijing.
Efforts to increase trade ties, Beijing’s position toward the Iranian nuclear issue, and China’s role in the international arena were also high on the agenda.
