President orders implementation of budget bill
TEHRAN, Apr. 1 (MNA) – Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad ordered the vice-president to carry out the budget bill for the current Iranian calendar year (started March 21).
The Majlis (parliament) and the Guardian Council approved the budget bill on March 15 and March 16 respectively.
The Majlis set the national budget at $347 billion and approved the administration’s decision on the estimated price of oil at $65 per barrel for the the new Iranian year of 1389 (March 2010-March 2011).
