Iran tractor exports up 40%
TEHRAN, Apr. 5 (MNA) – Some $70 million worth of tractors have been exported in the previous Iranian calendar year, which shows a 40 percent increase compared to its preceding year, the head of Iran Tractor Manufacturing Company said here on Saturday.
Abolfat’h Ebrahimi said that, “3000 tractors have been exported in the year to March 20, 2010.”
According to Ebrahimi, Asia, Africa and Latin America were the main destinations for the exported tractors.
Some 10,000 tractors were manufactured in the mentioned period, 3 fold of its preceding year.
