Subsidy reform is a national plan: Iranian president
TEHRAN, Apr. 6 (MNA) – President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has called the subsidy reforms a national plan and urged everybody to cooperate to implement it.
Ahmadinejad made the remarks during a meeting with a number of lawmakers late Sunday.
He said certain individuals have tried to raise people’s fears of the plan over the past two years but these moves have had no effect on the country’s economy and people’s lives.
He also stated that the administration was successful in controlling prices in the New Year’s peak shopping time.
