Everyone should abide by the law: Iranian Parliament speaker
TEHRAN, Apr. 7 (MNA) -- Iranian Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani has said here on Tuesday that everyone should abide by the law.
No one should break the law, he said in a meeting with the deputy ministers for parliamentary affairs on Tuesday.
“Illegal acts are against the religion (of Islam). Even if we are seeking justice, we should abide by the law,” he emphasized.
Larijani also stated that MPs have sworn to counter any illegal acts and will respond to any such acts.
If committing illegal acts becomes a habit, this habit will affect the people’s lives, the Majlis speaker noted.
The Supreme Leader has repeatedly emphasized that everyone should abide by the law, and his guidelines should be followed, he added.
