New collection by Iranian poet published in Germany
TEHRAN, Apr. 7 (MNA) -- A new poetry collection in German by the Iranian author Ali Ghazanfari was published recently in Leipzig, Germany.
Entitled “Und Auch Die Steine Reden” (And Even the Stones are Speaking), the book was released by Engelsdorfer publications recently.
Ghazanfari said that the book highlights the social aspects and freedom, peace and love are the main themes found in the anthology.
Several bilingual books in Persian and German by Ghazanfari have been released by Engelsdorfer, including a collection of Sadi, Hafez and 200 quatrains composed by Rumi.
His translation of Eva Strittmatter’s “Love and Hatred” will be available from Kara Payam Publications at the upcoming Tehran International Book Fair in May 2010.
