AZERBAIJAN-VIETNAM BUSINESS FORUM HELD IN BAKU

Baku, April 8 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Foundation (AZPROMO) with support of the Economic Development Ministry has organized today Azerbaijan-Vietnam business forum.
The event brought together Azerbaijani and Vietnamese officials and about 100 entrepreneurs representing various fields, including ICT, finance, banking, industry, trade, insurance, healthcare, tourism and construction.
The event was addressed by Azerbaijan`s deputy economic development minister Niyazi Safarov and Vietnamese Deputy Premier Hoang Trung Hai.
They spoke of opportunities for economic cooperation between the two countries. The speakers also underlined the importance of such events for development of bilateral cooperation.
It was noted Azerbaijan had become a regional leader thanks to President Ilham Aliyev`s social and economic policy.
AZPROMO`s president Adil Mammadov spoke of business opportunities and investment climate in the country.
The forum was followed by bilateral meetings held between Azerbaijani and Vietnamese businessmen to discuss prospects for cooperation.
