Iran unveils third generation of centrifuges
TEHRAN, April 9 (MNA) – Iran’s new nuclear achievements such as the third generation of centrifuges and sample nuclear fuel for Tehran research reactor were unveiled during a ceremony on Friday held to mark the National Nuclear Technology Day.
The third generation of centrifuges can enrich uranium faster and the separating power of these centrifuges is six times higher than its predecessors.
Ali Akbar Salehi, the director of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, talking in the ceremony, said the sites for building new enrichment facilities have been chosen.
