Senior Jundullah ringleaders seek pardon: Iran
TEHRAN, April 11 (MNA) – A top Interior Ministry official has said ringleaders allied to Abdolmalek Rigi’s Jundullah terrorist group have begged pardon and security bodies are studying the request.
A relevant committee, which established in Sistan-Baluchistan, is currently studying the request, Deputy Interior Minister for Security Affairs Ali Abdollahi said on Saturday.
Abdollahi said some other criminals have also requested protection.
Abdolmalek Rigi, the leader of Jundullah terrorist group, was arrested aboard a Kyrgyz airliner en route from Dubai to Kyrgyzstan on Feb. 23. He was detained on board the flight and the plane was forced to land at Bandar Abbas Airport.
