Iranian novel on Prophet Muhammad (S) being rendered into Turkish
TEHRAN, April 11 (MNA) -- Ebrahim Hassanbeigi’s novel “Muhammad(S)” is being rendered into Turkish this time after translation into French, English, Urdu, and Uzbek.
Turkish translator Veysel Basci is currently working on a transition of the book, the Turkish version of which will be released in Istanbul by Mana Publications.
Published by Madreseh Publications in 2007, the theme of the book centers on the life of Prophet Muhammad (S) and was selected best book of the year by the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance.
The book has so far been translated into French, English, Urdu, and Uzbek.
Iraqi author Ibrahim Basri did an Arabic translation of the novel, which was published by Beirut’s Dar El-Hadi Publications.
Farideh Mahdavi Damghani is translating the book into French and Iran’s cultural attaché in Canada is sponsoring an English version.
Iran’s cultural attaché in Tashkent published an Urdu version of the book with translation by Shakirjan Alamov.
Hassanbeigi’s book for elementary school children entitled “Golden Fish and Silver Fish” was translated into Turkmen by Maral Batirova and recently published in Turkmenistan.
“Rooted in Depth”, “Signs of Morning”, “Dear Uncle Abbas”, “Look at the Moon” are among Hassanbeigi’s other publications.
