TEHRAN, April 27 (MNA) – The director of the Trade Promotion Organization of Iran said that with the approval of the cabinet, TPOI will open nine representative offices abroad.

The Mehr News Agency quoted Babak Afqahi as saying on Monday that TPOI will open up branch offices in Iraq, Brazil, Turkey, the UAE, South Africa, Russia, and Afghanistan.

Afqahi, who is a deputy commerce minister, also pointed out that a plan had been devised to expand non-oil exports from Iran.

The TPOI director said, “The exportation of technical and engineering services in the past Iranian calendar year (ended March 20) reached $3.1 billion.”
