Tehran, Sarajevo ink 3 economic MOUs

SARAJEVO, May 1 (MNA) – Iran and Bosnia-Herzegovina signed three MOUs in Sarajevo on Thursday to enhance their bilateral cooperation in tourism, standardization, and higher education.

The MOUs were signed by Iranian Economic Affairs and Finance Minister Shamseddin Hosseini and Bosnian Foreign Trade and Economic Relations Mladen Zirojevic during the first Iran-Bosnia joint economic committee meeting.

The two sides agreed to boost joint investments, cooperation in banking, insurance, standardization, science, education, industry, agriculture, and tourism sectors and to hold exhibitions.

The agreements call for an increase in the number of items with customs tariff discount from the current 107.

It was decided that the second joint economic committee meeting to be held next April in Tehran.
