Iran's oil export to Japan up 21%
TEHRAN, May 2 (MNA) – Iran's oil export to Japan increased by 21 percent in March compared to February.
Dow Jones reported on April 22 that statistics of the Japanese economy and trade ministry show that Iran's daily export of oil to Japan was 2.18 million liters in March.
This is 11 percent of the total oil exported to Japan.
Meanwhile, the Japanese Economy, Trade and Industry Minister Masayuki Naoshima said on April 27 that his country is not worried about some Japanese oil companies working with Iran’s energy sector as being blacklisted by the U.S. government.
“We will continue enhancing our cooperation with Iranian oil companies and investing in Iran’s gas and oil projects,” disregarding the U.S. sanctions, the Japanese official said.
