Iranian parliament speaker to travel to Turkey on Sunday
TEHRAN, May 8 (MNA) – Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani is scheduled to travel to Turkey on Sunday to attend the emergency meeting of the Executive Committee of the Parliamentary Unions of the Organization of the Islamic Conference.
The participants are slated to examine the consequences of Israel’s expansion of its settlements in Al-Quds.
Parliament speakers from Indonesia, Syria, Uganda, Saudi Arabia, Cameroon, and Burkina Faso will also attend the meeting.
Larijani, whose trip will last for three days, would also meet with high-ranking Turkish officials as well as some parliamentary members of the OIC countries.
