Over 500,000 rural houses to be reinforced in Iran
TEHRAN, May 19 (MNA) - More than five hundred thousand houses in rural regions will be reinforced in the current Iranian year (to end March 20, 2011), the Housing Foundation director announced here on Tuesday.
Addressing the first international conference on rural settlements in Tehran, Alireza Tabesh said that presently 200,000 rural houses are being renovated and reinforced.
According to statistics, nearly two million rural houses of the total four million across the country are shaky, so these house are projected to be reinforced within ten years time, Tabesh added.
