Iran to boost non-oil exports to Iraq

TEHRAN, May 24 (MNA) --- Iran plans to rise its non-oil exports to Iraq up to $7.5 billion annually from the current $4.8 billion, the secretary-general of Iran-Iraq economic development center said here on Sunday.

"Iran mainly exports foodstuff and construction materials to Iraq,” the Mehr News Agency quoted Hassan Danaiifar as saying on Sunday.

“Currently, over 8,000 tons of cement is being exported to Iraq daily,” he added.
