Five Russians in Chinese jail after drunk brawl on plane.

KRASNOYARSK, May 28 (Itar-Tass) -- Five drunk Russians were placed in
a Chinese jail after a brawl onboard a plane bound from Bangkok to
Krasnoyarsk in Siberia on Thursday.
Director of the tourist company that organized the trip Dmitry Zotin
told Tass "the hooligans beat the stewards, smoked in the aircraft, and
physically intimidated the crew" of the Boeing-757.
The captain decided to urgently land in the city of Sanya in China.
The aircraft stayed for over seven hours in the airport waiting for
Russian embassy permission for Chinese police to board the airliner.
The five hooligans were taken to a local jail.
Krasnoyarsk airport spokeswoman Marina Kondrashova said the plane with
180 passengers onboard landed in Krasnoyarsk with a 12-hour delay.
