Supreme Leader to lead Friday prayers
TEHRAN, May 31 (MNA) -- Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei is to lead prayers this coming Friday, a day falling on the 21st anniversary of the demise of the late Imam Khomeini.
The prayers will be held at Imam Khomeini’s shrine.
President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and Hojjatoleslam Seyyed Hassan Khomeini will separately address worshipers before the prayers.
This Friday’s address by Ayatollah Khamenei will be his first Friday sermon since the June 19 sermon last year at Tehran University.
