Iran wins gold In Asian Grand Prix
TEHRAN, June 3 (MNA) -- Iran’s Sajad Moradi claimed the gold medal in the Asian Grand Prix Men’s 800 meters on Tuesday.
On a rainy day, Sajad Moradi came first clocking 1:47.70 in the competition held in Pune, India, with 350 athletes from 21 countries.
Prakash Verma from India finished second with a time of 1:47.90 and another Indian Pankaj Dimri who clocked 1:48.20 finished third.
The next two legs will be held in Bangalore (June 5) and Chennai (June 9).
