Iran crude steel exports up 19%
TEHRAN, June 7 (MNA) – Iran exported 138,776 tons of crude steel worth $81,481,000 in the first two months of the current Iranian calendar year (ended May 21).
The amount shows a 19 percent increase in terms of value compared to the same period last year, the Mehr News Agency reported.
Some 1,909,377 tons of crude steel have been produced in the the period showing 6 percent increase compared to the year before.
Iran also produced 1,909,333 tons of steel products in the mentioned period. The amount shows a 29 percent increase in comparison to the previous year and 1 percent rise compared to the estimated figure.
