Belarus to host “Today’s Iranian Lady”
TEHRAN, June 12 (MNA) -- A collection of photos will be put on display in an exhibition at the Iranian Embassy in Belarus from June 14 to 23.
Photos taken by 28 Iranian photographers will be showcased at the exhibit entitled “Today’s Iranian Lady”, director of the Iranian Photographers Center (IPC), the main organizer of the event, told the Persian service of the Mehr News agency on Thursday.
The exhibition is a cultural response to the negative image of Iranian women propagated in the West, Rasul Oliazadeh said.
The photos focus on women’s activities in sports, arts, social and cultural fields.
The exhibition will be sponsored by Iran’s Islamic Culture and Relations Organization.
