Some powers promoting Iranophobia in Europe: Iran's Larijani
TEHRAN, June 13 (MNA) — Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani has said that some global powers are not in favor of developing extensive ties among Iran and European states, thus trying to promote Iranophobia.
During a meeting with the Portuguese ambassador to Iran, Larijani said that parliaments of the two states could explore new scopes of cooperation for developing and promoting bilateral ties.
Majlis speaker further highlighted the significant role of the private sectors in both countries in various areas of economy, industry and trade.
Portuguese envoy Jorge Dias Cabral also expressed hope that during his mission in Tehran he could establish new areas to consolidate bilateral cooperation.
