Iran’s “There Are Things” competes at Karlovy Vary

TEHRAN, June 16 (MNA) -- Iran’s “There Are Things You Don’t Know” by Fardin Sahebozzamani is entered in the main competition section of 45th Karlovy Vary International Film Festival in the Czech Republic.

This is the first feature film entry by the young director at the festival running from July 2 to 10.

Ali is a taxi driver who tries to avoid any kind of adventure. Sima, an old school friend, nevertheless tries to revive their old friendship, helping to relieve his isolation.

Starring Ali Mosaffa, Leila Hatami, and Mahtab Karamati, the movie has not yet been screened in Iran.

Abdorreza Kahani’s “Twenty” won the jury special award at the 44th edition of the gala last year.
