Two IAEA inspectors barred from entering Iran
TEHRNA, June 22 (MNA) – Iran announced on Monday it had barred two inspectors of the International Atomic Energy Agency from entering the Islamic Republic.
The two became persona non grata henceforth since they had released an untruthful report about Iran’s nuclear activity, Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) Director Ali Akbar Salehi said on Monday.
Their report was “completely untruthful” and Tehran asked the IAEA not to send these two inspectors to Iran and instead assign two others, Salehi stated.
If an inspector issues a report contrary to the standing fact, Iran has the right to make an objection, Salehi, a nuclear physicist, noted.
However, Salehi neither named the two people nor gave details over what parts of the report were false.
