Iran's navy reaches its highest defense capability
TEHRAN, June 22 (MNA) — Deputy Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps has said that the IRGC naval forces has reached the highest level of its readiness in the face of military threats.
Talking at the 17th annual convention of the IRGC Navy commanders, Hossein Salami stated that the IRGC Navy constitutes the vital part of Iran’s defense capability in the Persian Gulf and the Strait of Hormoz.
Today, the IRGC Navy has made great technological advancements and equipped itself with the latest modern technology to defend the country’s territorial waters, he noted.
Being equipped with the most advanced and specialized defense technology, the IRGC naval forces have reached the highest point in terms of military readiness.
