Iran’s “Dad Gave Water” awarded at Austrian festival
TEHRAN, June 30 (MNA) -- The Iranian short film “Dad Gave Water” by Mehdi Jafari was awarded at the 38th Festival of Nations, which was held from June 13 to 19 in Ebensee, Austria.
The film, which has been awarded at several other festivals, won the best film award at the Special Section of the event.
“Dad Gave Water” narrates the story of concord amongst students of a class at a primary school.
Born in 1982, Jafari is studying filmmaking. He works in collaboration with the Yazd Department of Art Bureau and has made several acclaimed films.
