15 parliament speakers meet on Gaza in Syria
DAMASCUS, June 30 (MNA) - 15 parliament speakers from Islamic countries including Iran’s Majlis speaker Ali Larijani met in the Syrian capital, Damascus, on Wednesday to discuss the Gaza siege and explore ways how to deliver aid to Gazans.
Eight deputy parliament speakers and heads of parliamentary friendship groups from some countries have also attended the emergency meeting of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU).
