Iranian president to travel to Nigeria and Mali
TEHRAN, June 30 (MNA) - President Mahmoud Ahmdinejad will start a three-day visit to Nigeria and Mali on July 8.
Ahmdinejad will first participate in the D8 summit in Nigeria and then will head to Mali.
The Developing 8 (D-8 or Developing Eight) are a group of developing countries with large Muslim populations that have formed an economic development alliance. It consists of Bangladesh, Egypt, Indonesia, Iran, Malaysia, Nigeria, Pakistan, and Turkey.
The D-8 Summit will be held from 4-8 July on the theme of “Enhancing Investment Cooperation among D-8 Members”.
