Iran non-oil exports up 27%
TEHRAN, June 5 (MNA) – Iran exported 13,995,000 tons of non-oil goods worth $5,795 million in the first 3 months of the current Iranian calendar year (started March 21, 2010).
The amount shows respectively 27 and 35 percent increase in terms of value and volume in comparison to the same period last year.
Iran exported 15, 415,000 tons of non-oil goods (including gas condensates) worth $6,764,000 in the period.
The amount shows a 19.19 increase in terms of value and 21 percent rise in terms of volume compared to the previous year.
China and Iraq were the main destinations for the Iranian-made products.
Iran also imported $13,338 million worth of goods in the mentioned period which is 13.61 percent more than the previous year.
The goods weigh 10,575,000 tons which is 13.89 percent more than the year before.
