Iran's SP gas condensates export surpasses 550,000 tons

ASSALOUYEH, June 5 (MNA) – Over 550,000 tons of gas condensates worth over $361 million have been exported from Assalouyeh during the Iranian month of Khordad (ended June 21), the Managing director of the Pars Special Economic Energy Zone said on Sunday.

According to Mousa Souri, the amount shows respectively 48 and 50 percent increase in terms of volume and value in comparison to the same period last year.

Some 609,930 tons of non-oil goods worth $363,600,000 have been exported from the Pars Port Complex in Assaoulyeh during the period, Souri added.

Gas condensates, propane, butane, polyethylene, and benzene were among the major exported items.

Last week the operation of seven docks in Pars Port Complex and investment in the port’s development plans were transferred to the Islamic Republic of Iran Shipping Lines (IRISL).
