French PM, British foreign minister to visit Japan from Thurs.+

TOKYO, July 12 Kyodo -
French Prime Minister Francois Fillon and British Foreign Minister William
Hague will each make a two-day visit to Japan from Thursday for talks with
their counterparts, the Japanese Foreign Ministry said Monday.
Fillon is scheduled to meet with Prime Minister Naoto Kan on Friday, while
Hague will hold talks with Foreign Minister Katsuya Okada on Thursday. They are
expected to discuss bilateral relations and global challenges, State Secretary
for Foreign Affairs Koichi Takemasa said at a press conference.
The French premier will also speak to Japanese business representatives in a
seminar, he said.
