27 killed, 270 injured in two bomb attacks in southeast Iran
TEHRAN, July 17 (MNA) - About 27 people were killed and 270 others wounded in two successive suicide bomb attacks at a mosque in the southeast city of Zahedan late Thursday.
Health Minister Marzieh Vahid Dastjerdi said 11 of those injured are in critical condition.
The first explosion happened at 21:30 pm local time. Soon after people rushed to the help the victims a second bomb went off.
The aim of the blasts is to sow discord among Shia and Sunni Muslims in the city.
