Tehran Univ. dorm dossier handed over to Judiciary: MP
TEHRAN, July 18 (MNA) – The dossier of Tehran University dormitory incident has been handed over to judicial officials, MP Mohammad Hassan Aboutorabifard said on Thursday.
On June 15, 2009 unidentified plainclothes entered Tehran University dormitory, ransacked buildings, beat and detained dozens of students. The police said it only interfered to protect the students living at the dormitory and restore calm.
The Supreme National Security Council, the Majlis, and Tehran University prepared a precise and thorough report on the incident and sent it to the judicial officials, Aboutorabifard stated.
