No decision yet on relocation of ministries from Tehran: official
TEHRAN, July 21 (MNA) – Certain ministers have agreed to the relocation of ministries out of Tehran but the administration’s special working group has not yet agreed to it, vice president for the workforce Lotfollah Forouzandeh said during an interview aired Monday night.
In April, First Vice President Mohammad-Reza Rahimi announced that the government is determined to transfer some ministries, organizations, and companies to other cities.
The plan falls within the government’s decentralization of Tehran, which houses about 10 million people.
