Iran to inaugurate important defense projects
TEHRAN, Aug. 1 (MNA) – Iran will inaugurate important and eye-catching defense projects on the Defense Industry Day, said Ahmad Vahidi, the defense minister, on Saturday.
The 31st of the Iranian calendar month of Mordad (August 22) is named the Defense Industry Day.
Vahidi said that the Defense Ministry plays a strategic and unique role in developing and advancing Iran’s defense industry.
The Defense Ministry also is active in the areas of aerospace, aerial and naval indusry, missile production as well as electronic, armored, engineering infrastructure, he explained.
He went on to say that the Defense Ministry will prove sanctions and threats against Iran are inefficient, and that the Islamic Republic will live its normal life and become stronger day by day.
