Iran's BIPC exports up 30%
TEHRAN, Aug. 1 (MNA) -- Bandar Imam Petrochemical Complex (BIPC) exported over 668,637 tons of petrochemical products worth over $473 million in the first 4 months of the current Iranian calendar year of 1389 (March 21-July 22).
The amount shows a 30 percent increase in terms of value in comparison to the same period in the last year.
Propane, butane, pentane, aromatic, benzene, naphtha, and artificial rubber, as well as light and heavy poly ethylene, were among the exported items.
China, Japan, and the UAE were the export destinations.
Bandar Imam Petrochemical Complex (BIPC) in Imam Khomeini Port produces 5 million tons of petrochemical products annually.
The company exports 21 percent of all petrochemical products exported by Iran.
