Sedighi named Iran flag-bearer in Youth Olympic Games
TEHRAN, Aug. 4 (MNA) -- Amir Sedighi has been named as Iran’s flag-bearer for the inaugural ceremony of 2010 Youth Olympic Games.
Sedighi, captain of street basketball team, was chosen by Iran’s National Olympic Committee (NOC) to lead Iranian athletes into the competitions which will be held in Singapore from Aug 14 to 26.
Iran will take part in the 2010Youth Olympic Games with 52 athletes in 13 events.
