Cement production up 16%
TEHRAN, Aug. 4 (MNA) – During the first four months of the Iranian calendar year (March 21- July 21) cement factories in Iran produced nearly 20 million tons which is 16 percent more than the same period the in the last year.
The plants produced 5.2 million tons of cement in the month of Tir (June 22-July 21) showing about 12 percent rise compared to last year.
19 million tons of clinker was produced in the country during the period that is 17 percent more than the previous time span.
